What Does the PTA Do?
Information: The PTA helps keep families informed about all things Hammond Middle School. We can also answer questions and help connect parents and families to resources.
Community: We organize events to bring our community together.
Advocacy: We work closely with Principal Buster-Singleton and the administration team, district officials, and our Alexandria network of PTAs to influence decisions that affect all of our students.
Financial: We fundraise to support Hammond teachers, students, and families.

Join the PTA!
Log into GiveBacks and join the PTA for only $10! Your membership means that you support our efforts and goals. Your membership also gives you voting privileges at our general meetings.

Attend a PTA Meeting!
PTA meetings will be on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. We will alternate between in-person and virtual events. Please plan to join us!

What Does the PTA Do?
For the PTA to be effective and truly representative of the school, we need you! You are an important part of the Hammond Community. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time, your talents, and your voice are needed.
